Dear CCA Members,
35 organizations from across the country, including the CCA, have come together to form the Coalition for Small Business Tax Fairness—a unified voice to oppose the federal government’s tax proposals that would dramatically change the way incorporated small businesses are taxed in Canada.
Attached you will find the letter that the Coalition sent to Minister of Finance Bill Morneau yesterday and which was publicly released today. The CCA will continue working with the Coalition to make sure our industry’s concerns are heard at the highest levels.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Yukon Contractors Association will be holding their AGM January 16th at noon at the Coast High Country Inn. All members who are able, are encourage to attend and take part in this year's election.
We require committed Board members to help us represent the interests of all Yukon contractors - come join us!
Aside from representing the common interests of the Yukon construction industry, with respect to procurement to all levels of government and to major development groups, being a Board member helps you to gain, and share, expertise, strengthen your resume, and broaden your connections while building valuable networks both in and outside Yukon.
Our Board is comprised of a President, a Vice-President and 5 directors. Moving forward we seek to increase the representation of women, Yukon First Nations and youth/millennials on the board. If you, or any of your member employees are interested in standing in either of these positions, please submit your nominations to office@yukoncontractors.ca before Wednesday, or better yet, join us at the meeting!
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Thank you to all who helped in making our CCA Fall Board Meeting Reception a success!
